The bump stock does increase the rate of fire significantly, but at the expense of accuracy. That said, firing into a dense crowd doesn’t require accuracy. The killer’s high perch made this massacre more deadly, while the bump stock likely resulted in more wounded.

Meanwhile, wonder what a “silencer” sounds like? After the massacre, Hillary Clinton tweeted, “The crowd fled at the sound of gunshots. Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get.” Well, here’s what they sound like:
