Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) — Minnesota’s Lieutenant Governor made a stop in Canal Park Monday afternoon.
She was campaigning on behalf of Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton.
Lieutenant Governor Tina Smith says Hillary Clinton’s policies would help create more jobs in Minnesota as opposed to Donald Trump’s.
It was Smith’s last stop on her “Made in Minnesota” tour.
Smith hosted the event at Vikre Distillery in Canal Park where she also got a tour of the Twin Ports business.
The Lieutenant Governor expressed why she is supporting Hillary Clinton siting Clinton’s 100 Day jobs plan.
“She thinks that we need to be looking at ways to reduce the regulatory red tape on businesses, and also investing in technology and innovation to help businesses, like Boston Scientific in the metro area; to help them make investments in the jobs they’re creating there,” said Lt. Gov. Smith.
The Lieutenant Governor also made stops in Maple Grove and Rochester.
Smith says Clinton’s 100 day jobs plan would invest in manufacturing and crack down on trade abuses and would also invest in infrastructure across the country.
