So, why isn’t the registered owner of the Buick identified or even described, but the victim of the hit and run is named?

Police search for hit and run suspect after Carlton County crash

Authorities are looking for the driver of a 2013 Buick Verano who left the scene of a crash on foot late Wednesday and has not been identified.

The Buick was traveling east on Minnesota Highway 210 when it cross the centerline and sideswiped a Hyundai Sonata driven by 47-year-old Joseph Graham of Rosslyn, Ont., the Minnesota State Patrol said in a news release.

Graham had been traveling west and made it to the shoulder following the collision. He was taken to Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Buick, a male, left the vehicle blocking traffic lanes, the state patrol news release said.

The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene. The crash occurred shortly after 11 p.m.
